PORTFOLIO > Banner Paintings

My most recent group of paintings, or "banner works", is still evolving. Since pulling the canvas off the stretcher last year, I have felt more free to explore multiple techniques and approaches to making. Each work draws inspiration from nature, utilizing painting, collage and embroidery to create dynamic, engaging pieces. Ultimately, I hope to encourage the viewer to take more time to look, to wonder, and to be present.
